Battlefield Tales 2 (Part II) Crew Cut: A Recollection of India's First Armoured Mine Breaching Operations, 1971.

Battlefield Tales 2 (Part II) is the first narrative history of Indian Army’s first Armoured-Mine-Breaching Operations during the Indo-Pak War, Operation Cactus Lily, 1971. Its carries a detailed narrative of 7th Light Cavalry's veteran crews who are unsung heroes of our nation. 

A heroic tale published in Fauji India Magazine (access online); in continuation of the second article in my "Battlefield Tales" a special series of historic articles dedicated to unsung heroes of our Nation. This series brings the battlefield to you as they were experienced and narrated by our veterans.
